Private Lesson Instructors
Clarinet and Saxophone: Mrs. Fran Beaudry - Mrs. Beaudry has a degree in music from Liberty University, as well as course work in music from Cornerstone University. She is the coordinator for the Academy of the Arts, and is also the music teacher for Romeoville Christian Academy. She has over 30 years' experience as a performer and educator. She is a member of the Joliet Legion Band, International Clarinet Association and former principal clarinet with the Hernando Symphony.
Brass and Strings: Mr. Dan Askins - Mr. Askins received both his B.S. in Music Education, and his M.A. in Piano Performancefrom Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C. Additionally he took choral conducting course work from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, N.J. He recently finished a Masters in Music Education from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Va. Included in Dan’s teaching experience are twenty years of coaching both choral and instrumental ensembles as well as teaching private lessons including piano, strings, and other orchestral instruments. He also has worked extensively in church music programs scheduling service music and directing choirs and orchestras.
Voice and Piano: Mr. Thomas Seidel - Mr. Seidel holds a Bachelor of Music degree in piano from Moody Bible Institute, with extensive studies in vocal education. He has given private instruction for 10 years and is the Director of Contemporary Worship at Morningstar Community Church in Aurora, IL.
Piano: Mrs. Joy Seidel - Mrs. Seidel has been teaching private piano lessons at RCA for 7 years. She has begun her course work at Moody Bible Institute for a Bachelor's degree in Sacred Music with an emphasis in piano. She has experience as an accompanist with many different groups, including Joliet Central High School.
