Congratulations to RCA High School at Fine Arts Competition

Romeoville Christian Academy made a fine showing in their first high school fine arts and academic competition last month. First, in the area of academics, twenty-two RCA students competed and twenty-one of them received either a blue ribbon (Excellent) or a red ribbon (Very Good) as a result. Ayun Brown placed 3rd in Biology, Sarah Palmer was state runner-up in Creative Writing Poetry, and Scott Brennwald was the State Champion.

In the area of music, junior Lisy Perez was named state champion in the area of Female Vocal Solo.

In the area of Bible, RCA did quite well.  The Bible Quiz team, coached by Mrs. Phyllis Evans, competed very well.  Senior Sarah Palmer placed 2nd in Bible Teaching and junior Esther Palmer was named State Champion in the same category.
